Delta Rue evokes the faded old-world elegance of Hanoi’s Old Quarter in the 1920s, offering a piece of unique escapism to our guests. An extensive and wide reaching wine list compliments the bold flavours to help provide a distinctive experience unlike any other in Sydney. The lush rooftop terrace Wentworth Bar is set to become one of Sydney’s most spectacular al fresco drinking destinations. This sprawling space, which also offers a glass and copper cover to protect from inclement weather, accommodates up to 400 guests and will pour fun and bright easy-drinking cocktails. The Vietnamese influence of Delta Rue extends to the food menu of Wentworth Bar, where you can expect fresh, vibrant snacks and drinking food, while regular DJs enhance the lively atmosphere. About the Role We are seeking a passionate and experienced Venue Leader to lead our team across these two distinct outlets. As the Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Delta Rue and Wentworth Bar operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving an inclusive and positive work environment. You are the one to bring the link between the two venues, elevating guest experience across all touch points and working with and empowering the Bar Leader and Restaurant Leader in the day to day execution of their role. Key Responsibilities Ensure consistent delivery of exceptional service and quality products, aligning with Delta Rue & Wentworth Bar brand standards. Build & develop a team that fits within the culture and skills expectations for the venue. Oversee on-boarding and induction plans to ensure new hires are integrated seamlessly into our culture. Drive team product knowledge to uphold our high standards of quality and guest satisfaction. Create and manage team incentives to drive motivation, productivity, and performance excellence. Monitor and report metrics on guest reviews identifying opportunities for improvement and recognizing outstanding performance. Strategically manage labour percentage to optimise operational efficiency while controlling costs. Maintain the venue's impeccable presentation standards, including cleanliness, organisation, and visual appeal. Foster team development through coaching, mentoring, and providing growth opportunities. Review and approve daily timesheets accurately and promptly, ensuring compliance with labour regulations and company policies. Uphold compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, including Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) requirements. Generate and analyse daily reports on key performance indicators, revenue, expenses, and other relevant metrics to track progress and identify areas for improvement. Qualifications Previous experience in a managerial role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a high-volume venue. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations pertaining to the hospitality industry, including RSA. Flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
