Centre Director - Insight Early Learning Port Coogee Insight Early Learning Port Coogee is seeking a passionate and experienced Centre Director to lead our dedicated team of educators and inspire the next generation of bright minds. We are set over two levels with an Ocean themed playground allowing us to create amazing education areas both inside and outside. Beach Kinder excursion is our most popular activity. The children are also provided opportunity to learn through cooking, music, art and cultural programs in addition to our STEM curriculum. Your role will include: Ensuring the service consistently upholds the Child Safe Standards and maintains a culture where children’s safety and wellbeing are paramount Overseeing the day-to-day management and smooth operation of the service Leading recruitment, onboarding and mentoring of new team members Maintaining strong administrative and compliance practices Building positive and effective family and community relationships Supporting innovative educational program development and delivery Driving continuous improvement through the Quality Improvement Plan Creating a positive workplace culture, celebrating achievements, and inspiring excellence What you will bring: Previous leadership/management experience in Early Childhood Education Strong operational, compliance, and financial acumen with proven ability to meet targets A supportive and inspiring leadership style with a focus on mentoring and team development A deep commitment to quality education and care, and to building strong partnerships with families and community Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) Flexibility, initiative, and a willingness to go above and beyond Experience with Xplor or Humanforce (advantageous but not essential) Qualifications: Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (ACECQA approved) or Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent) Sound knowledge of the National Quality Framework and Early Years Learning Framework Current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Management Certificates Current Working with Children Check Child Protection Training (current) Experience as a Nominated Supervisor and Director Strong understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations What’s on offer: Competitive Above Award hourly rate Career development and training opportunities 17.5% annual leave loading Uniforms provided Staff discount (conditions apply) Anniversary day off Workplace celebrations and recognition programs Access to Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Early access to earned wages via Humanforce Thrive A supportive leadership team, realistic budgets, and resources to succeed How to Apply: If our philosophy resonates with you and you’re ready to lead with passion, apply today and tell us how you can contribute to building our vision of excellence at Insight Early Learning.
