FRM Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Pty Ltd (FRM) is a Darwin based company that commenced operations in 2012. We are one of the leading regional, commercial refrigeration and air conditioning companies in the Top End. We specialise in the design, installation and service of commercial air conditioning and refrigeration systems. We are currently involved in large contract works for major Northern Territory projects such as national chain supermarkets, shopping centres, Defence Establishments, schools, and government buildings. The Role We currently have an exciting opportunity for immediate start for a full-time, trade qualified Mechanical Plumber to work within our growing team. Responsibilities Reading and interpreting drawings and specifications to determine the layout of pipework Measuring, cutting and welding pipework to appropriate sizes using hand and power tools Installing pipework according to design specifications and industry standards Testing of installed systems to ensure quality and optimal system performance Collaborating with other team members and contractors to complete projects efficiently and on schedule Conducting quality inspections to identify and resolve any issues or deficiencies in the pipework Adhering to safety protocols and regulations at all times Working collaboratively with team members to ensure project deadlines are met About You The successful candidate will possess: Proven experience as a Mechanical Plumber or similar role Proficiency in reading shop drawings A current and valid driver’s licence with the ability to drive a manual vehicle Be flexible, a confident self-starter and competent professional with a safety conscious approach Proven track record in working to deadlines while maintaining a high standard of work Experienced in troubleshooting and maintenance activities Be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident The following will be highly regarded: Experience in the air conditioning & refrigeration industry Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and components How to Apply If you would like to be part of a rapidly growing and successful organisation, please send your resume with a cover letter outlining your experience to **@frmrefrigeration.com.au Please note only shortlisted applicants will be contacted. #J-18808-Ljbffr
