Director - Origination - Real Estate Finance - Leading Institutional Fund Manager This opportunity sits within a well‑established private credit platform that has reached genuine institutional scale, both in capital base and execution capability. With long‑term funding, repeat investors, and a consistent deployment mandate, the platform is positioned as a reliable provider of real‑estate capital to sophisticated borrowers. The platform Institutional private credit manager with a substantial and stable capital base, backed by domestic and offshore investors. Active, repeat lender in the Australian commercial real‑estate market, with an established track record across multiple cycles. Broad product capability, enabling transactions to be structured across senior, stretch senior, mezzanine, and whole‑of‑capital solutions. Typical transaction size of $30m to $300m, with flexibility to scale structures to suit borrower needs rather than force‑fit a product. Centralised credit and execution teams providing consistency, rigour, and speed from approval through to settlement. A measured, commercial credit culture that balances risk discipline with pragmatic deal‑making. The opportunity Lead new deal origination across Victoria, building and converting a high‑quality pipeline of proprietary and intermediated opportunities. Originate, structure, and negotiate transactions from initial engagement through credit approval and execution. Work closely with senior investment and credit decision‑makers, with direct input into deal structuring and outcomes. Engage with developers, sponsors, brokers, and advisors as a long‑term capital partner rather than a transactional lender. Represent the platform in‑market, strengthening brand presence and deepening access to repeat and referral‑driven opportunities. Who will succeed A senior originator with 10‑20 years’ experience in private credit, non‑bank lending, banking, or real‑estate finance. Strong and active networks across the Victorian commercial property market. Demonstrated experience originating and closing transactions in the $30m+ range. High level of commercial judgement across structuring, pricing, and risk assessment. Self‑directed, market‑facing, and motivated by building sustainable deal flow. Comfortable operating with autonomy while engaging collaboratively with investment and credit teams.
