Job Description
We are looking for a Finance Business Partner to join our Finance team. Reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance, this role will be partnering with key stakeholders outside of finance to provide financial leadership and support. The role will be focused on finance business partnering with key business units in the Group to understand the drivers of margin results and identify opportunities for growth.
What you'll do as a Finance Business Partner:Work closely the senior stakeholders to undertake analysis, monitor the business strategy, processes, and systems to identify opportunities for improvementUse data, insights and reporting to provide continual business improvement to facilitate profitable growthDevelop insight and understanding of business model and its drivers to provide future planning and recommendationsScenario analysis and preparing new business cases including the preparation of capex proposals, monitor spend and complete post project reviewsPreparing models and margin analysis to support impact on business decisions and development of targets and calculation of monthly sales commissionsReporting of monthly Margin analysis and provide commentaries for variance between actuals and budget or forecastInvolvement in Budgeting and forecasting cycles as well as providing insightful analysis of monthly performance including continued development of leading indicator insight
Qualifications
What you'll need to succeed:Minimum 5 years' experience in a commercial role in a fast-paced environmentDegree in Commerce/Accounting; CA or CPA or equivalent qualifiedDemonstrated experience in management accounting or finance business partneringExperience developing and presenting analytical findings to stakeholdersFinancial modelling experience to identify new business opportunities and provide recommendations to key stakeholdersStrong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills to interpret and report financial information to support decision making and business performanceDemonstrated excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills, and experience in developing and maintaining strategic working relationshipsStrong Excel skills (v-lookups, pivot tables and complex formulas are a minimum), experience with PowerPoint presentations and BI toolsCuriosity to learn, be open minded and ready to challenge the norm
