We need an energetic, creative and tenacious seller to continue to drive our rapid growth. Position Description The Agency Lead role will be focused on growing revenue for our owned‑and‑operated inventory, including our native home‑screen ads and our OTT service, Samsung TV Plus. The individual must be a motivated self‑starter responsible for building and growing relationships with new and existing advertisers, agencies, and agency trading desks across New South Wales. The right candidate is equally comfortable partnering with existing customers to grow opportunities and driving revenue from new prospects. The individual should have a passion for video, advanced TV, and the rapidly changing ways consumers view premium content across all screens. It’s key to have a pulse on how the media agency community is thinking about and allocating client spend to digital channels and what solutions they need to do so more seamlessly. The successful candidate will have autonomy, under the guidance of their manager, to develop a strategic understanding of the Samsung Ads platform and capabilities, and how it can be used to solve business challenges for clients. The individual should have an understanding of the ins and outs of direct and programmatic media buying including, but not limited to: trading and targeting tactics, device graphs, inventory sources, 1st and 3rd party data onboarding/matching, and auction mechanics. The Agency Lead must have existing relationships across either investment or planning teams at the major agencies or independent agencies, including key senior‑level contacts. The successful candidate must be able to think strategically, anticipate how buying decisions are made, uncover the business needs of key clients, and have a proven ability to drive spend through programmatic and direct channels. Additionally, they will be a team‑player and have the ability to work collaboratively across the sales organization within a fluid and fast‑paced environment. This position will carry quarterly revenue goals. This role is based in Sydney with domestic travel as needed. Responsibilities Build strong relationships with named advertisers, agencies, and agency trading desks Create a plan to build and grow Samsung Ads’ digital business with named agencies and accounts Continuously provide value to your customers and serve as a trusted consultant to drive advertising growth with Samsung Ads Monitor daily/weekly run rate across assigned accounts and work with product and support teams to troubleshoot any issues Develop a strategic understanding of the Samsung Ads platform and capabilities, and how it can be used to solve business challenges for clients Act as an internal champion for your advertising customers across Samsung Background & Experience Required 5+ years of industry or relatable experience with a significant portion spent working at an agency, trading desk, or programmatic publisher Proven track record of securing and growing spend from advertisers and agencies Successful internal and external relationship management Experience working in both entrepreneurial and established corporate cultures Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail, and good follow‑through Talent at explaining complex topics in simple terms in person or over the phone Bachelor’s Degree; MBA or other advanced degree a plus Preferred Experience Experience with selling or using advertising platforms the demand side (e.g., Adobe, Amazon, Google, The Trade Desk, or Verizon Media) Agency or agency trading desk experience overseeing, implementing, and using advertising technology across a large number of brand accounts A strong network and existing relationships across buying and trading teams across multiple agencies The candidate must be able to thrive in a fast‑paced and dynamic environment.
