Competitive USD salary and benefits on offer for the right candidate. Sandfire is a global copper producer headquartered in Perth, Western Australia. One of our principal operating assets is Motheo Copper Operations (Motheo) in Botswana. Responsibilities Pronto System Management Act as the Pronto CMMS subject matter expert (SME) for the site, responsible for the configuration, administration, and continuous improvement of the system. Develop and implement maintenance strategies, PM schedules, and work management processes within Pronto. Lead initiatives to expand Pronto’s functionality across modules (Work Management, Preventive Maintenance, Inventory, Procurement, and Costing). Create and maintain custom reports, dashboards, and KPIs to track maintenance performance, costs, and compliance. Conduct regular audits of data integrity and maintenance history within Pronto to ensure accuracy and completeness. Drive workflow automation and process integration to enhance efficiency between Maintenance, Operations, and Supply Chain functions. Maintenance Planning and Scheduling Develop, review, and optimize short-, medium-, and long-term maintenance schedules using Pronto CMMS. Plan and schedule preventive, corrective, and project maintenance activities to minimize downtime and optimize resource utilization. Ensure work orders, job plans, and resource requirements are well-defined, costed, and aligned with operational priorities. Audit planning for major jobs, ensuring correct part ordering, material availability, and crew assignment prior to execution. Prepare and manage shutdown and preservation schedules, ensuring alignment with operational and safety requirements. Analyse maintenance plans upon introduction of new equipment and adjust workload and resources accordingly. Preventive Maintenance Compliance, Audit and Reporting Review and revise maintenance strategies to address safety, reliability, and criticality priorities. Conduct regular compliance audits, variance analyses, and performance reviews using CMMS data. Maintain ownership of the maintenance history database and ensure it reflects accurate maintenance activity records. Provide detailed monthly planning and performance reports to the Maintenance Superintendent. Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses related to maintenance activities and ensure corrective actions are implemented. Qualifications Mechanical Engineering Diploma / Degree or equivalent. Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations. Pronto certification or equivalent proven experience in Pronto CMMS system is essential. Minimum 10 years’ experience in the maintenance planning field. Well experienced in reliability centred maintenance programs with proven expertise in Pronto CMMS administration and system optimization (mining or heavy industrial environment preferred). In-depth knowledge of maintenance management principles, asset lifecycle management, and work management processes. Communicates effectively both verbally and in writing.
