Come work with us

We have an exciting opportunity in the Program and Change Management Office for a Program Advisory and Assurance Consultant.

You will be responsible for providing advice on appropriate methodologies that support eHealth program delivery, facilitate risk and lessons learned workshops and manage organisational continuous improvement projects. Provide program and project assurance by undertaking assurance reviews thus ensuring eHealth NSW programs meet all necessary assurance obligations.

What you will do

As an integral member of the Program and Change Management Office , you will:Consult with key stakeholders and project teams to ensure that the defined methodologies (e.g. Program and Project Management and SDLC) are appropriate for eHealth Programs and undertake improvements to methodologies and templates.Provide advice, support and facilitation to program teams in the application of defined methodologies and facilitate workshops with program delivery teams in order to identify program risks and lessons learned.Develop and deliver training programs across eHealth to improve the relevant knowledge and skills levels on PCMO processes and methodologies and establish and maintain knowledge repositories for good practicesReview products/program artefacts (e.g. test plans etc., change requests) to ensure fit for purpose in line with established methodologiesConduct and deliver project assurance services, including health checks and post implementation reviews, and coordinate those mandated by external stakeholders (e.g. NSW Treasury, NSW Auditor General, Audit Office) and support program teams to prepare for these assurance activities.Analyse and communicate feedback from reviews, health checks, audits and identify lessons learnedCollaborate with the program managers to ensure assurance review recommendations are actioned.Act as secretariat for the eHealth Change Control Review Group (CCRG).

About you

We are seeking motivated and committed individuals with:Extensive hands on experience and a record of achievement in managing projects including relevant qualifications or equivalentExtensive knowledge and demonstrated experience in the ICT project lifecycle, project management and SDLC methodologies.Demonstrated experience in identifying key risks and issues facing a project or program.Extensive knowledge and demonstrated experience in project assurance and audit requirements applicable to NSW government projects.
