Senior Manager, Derivatives and Cash Management

We are partnering with a leading global investment manager with close to AUD$250B in assets under management on behalf of Institutional investors, Super funds, Wholesale distributors, Investment platforms and Financial Advisors globally. This is a great opportunity to join in a newly created role within the Investment Business Management function utilising your deep knowledge and skillset across Financial Markets in Cash Management/Derivatives/FX at a senior leadership capacity.

ResponsibilitiesProvide and oversee hedging capabilities and cash management services to the International Equity teamsAs the role sits within the Front office, you will provide support across operational activities, capital markets, vendor management and projectsHedging portfolio currency risk and portfolio currency exposure riskManagement of cash flows and rebalancing of portfoliosOversee hedging counterparties, pricing and collateral negotiationTo be considered you will have5-10 years in a similar role within Cash and FX ManagementSolid understanding of investment products, FX instruments and derivatives tradingBe influential and confident in stakeholder engagement and management across key heads of business unitsExperience in managing or mentoring a teamThis is a rare opportunity to form a newly created team as you partner with Investment operations, research and compliance teams to drive process improvements and minimise operational risk. We are looking to speak with candidates with relevant experience ideally from asset management or sell side experience coupled with deal execution as well as strong project management.
