Job Title Warehouse Picker and Packer Location Porter Green, Units 3 & 4, 9-11 Sandra Avenue, Corio 3214 Job Description We are seeking a motivated and experienced Warehouse Picker and Packer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately picking, packing, booking in orders, receiving and unpacking containers of product, monitoring and assisting with customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment. Please note, Porter Green is a family based business consisting of all women. The candidate must have a joyous and enthusiastic personality to thrive in this environment. Key Responsibilities Read and understand invoices/packing slips and shipping orders Pick products from warehouse shelves according to the order Pack picked products into appropriate shipping cartons Book in orders for collection and ensure they are ready for pickup Receive and unpack containers of products and verify accuracy of shipments Ensure that all products are packed correctly and safely Keep warehouse clean and organized Label packages correctly and affix shipping labels Communicate any discrepancies or problems with orders to supervisor Monitoring and assisting with customer service queries, returns and exchanges etc. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Experience working in a warehouse environment 1 year of relevant work experience required Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 20kg) Strong attention to detail Good organizational and communication skills Ability to work independently or as part of a team Knowledge of basic computer operations and inventory management systems Working Hours Hours are extremely flexible. Ideally Monday/Wednesday/Friday. Half days or full days depending on the volume of orders. Start time approx 9am - 11am and finish between 12pm - 4pm. Hours will vary in the lead‑up to Christmas (highly likely that hours will be increased). We will discuss days/hours in detail during the interview process.
