About The Role Communicate regularly with all assets and functions involving mine planning – typically Planning Managers and Superintendents. Focus on understanding and supporting significant mine planning issues and initiatives in assets, finding solutions, and where no solution exists, driving the development of solutions that are globally applicable. Promote mine planning as the vehicle that supports, collates, and drives forward all technical disciplines and asset optionalying (bottom‑up and fully informed mine planning). Promote and enable front‑end loading of the capital allocation plan cycle (CAP) – particularly best practice enterprise optimisation. Scope, lead, execute, and deliver high‑value, global projects to improve mine planning. Provide assurance on all global mine planning standards and guidelines. Identify and communicate significant gaps between mine planning current and best practice. Provide technical support for independent peer reviews (IPRs) and globally significant mine planning projects, studies 번호 reviews. Second line of defence assurance activities for mine planning as part of the BHP risk management framework, support the third line as required. Represent and promote BHP externally as a leader шт mine planning. About You Minimum 10 years’ experience in mine planning and business analysis. Demonstrated deep technical knowledge of mine planning as an integrated activity with all other technical disciplines. Demonstrated ability to lead or influence diverse groups of highly skilled mine planning professionals, including significant site and corporate experience. Demonstrated successful communication of complex issues and influencing positive change. Ability to work in global teams. Demonstrated involvement in economic modelling and business analysis of minerals assets. Underground metalliferous mine planning experience (caving exposure highly regarded). Evidence of commitment to learning. Coal mine planning experience.
