Enrolled Nurse Christie Downs – St Basil's Homes (SA) An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our forward‑thinking, progressive aged care organisation as an Enrolled Nurse on a permanent part‑time basis. You will report to the Registered Nurse and excel in providing exceptional care and service excellence. You will work both independently and as part of a team, thriving in a fast‑paced environment where your efforts make a tangible difference to our residents. Permanent Shifts Week 2 – Wednesday, Friday, Monday (7‑1 pm). Opportunity to pick up additional shifts as they become available. What You’ll Do and Be Responsible For Provide quality clinical care to the residents in your ‘house’ area, in line with our Model of Care Be responsible for the health and well‑being of our residents Check medication and undertake medication rounds where required Engage with families and other stakeholders to build relationships and trust, and act as a family contact for any clinical discussions when required Demonstrate leadership in maintaining infection control, manual handling and care provision principles at all times Model best practices to ensure residents’ quality of life is optimised Observe, escalates and documents changes in residents to the Registered Nurse Complete simple wound care and administer medication in accordance with policies and guidelines What You’ll Need To Succeed Diploma of Nursing with full AHPRA registration (no restrictions) Up‑to‑date qualifications in First Aid and CPR A warm and empathetic approach Comprehensive clinical knowledge of the ageing process and a working knowledge of relevant aged‑care legislation Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion Strong organisational and time‑management skills Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills; listening, written and verbal Ability to work independently and as part of a team A proactive and energetic style with the enthusiasm to learn and develop It Would Be Helpful If You Had (but Is Not Essential) 1‑3 years experience as an Enrolled Nurse Experience working in aged care A current National Police Certificate (or willingness to apply) Benefits of Joining Our Amazing Team A competitive salary based on experience A friendly and inclusive culture, where the values of courtesy and kindness underpin everything that we do Salary packaging to maximise your take‑home pay Professional development opportunities A supportive and inclusive work environment How to Apply If you are interested in this exciting opportunity, please submit your resume and a cover letter outlining: Your relevant experience and qualifications What motivates you to apply for this role For a confidential discussion, please email About St Basil's Every day at St Basil’s in South Australia presents a new opportunity to create ways for our residents to live well, their way, at any age.
