The role provides the first point of contact for procurement and contract management support and advice across the organisation. It provides expert advice on contract conditions and administration to procurement professionals and stakeholders to support informed decision making and improve future contract outcomes. Lastly, it provides strategic advice to enable stakeholders to gain maximum benefit from the contract, including identifying and facilitating contract variations to achieve improved outcomes, while maintaining compliance. About You You are a self‑motivated procurement specialist with excellent communications skills and can engage with stakeholders at various levels. This opportunity is suited to those who would like to have hands‑on experience in managing the procurement of goods and services for the Department, gain an understanding of the purchasing requirements across various directorates and be a central point of contact for procurement advice. This position operates in context. This means that you are required to demonstrate personal accountability for delivering excellence and support your team and agency in delivering strategic goals.
