Reference Number About the Role We are currently searching for three Admission Advisors to join our fast‑paced and dynamic team of superstars. As an Admission Advisor, you will undertake the evaluation and assessment of applications for Admission and Recognition of Prior Learning, supporting applicants to gain entry into their desired course or pathway solution. Positions Available 2 x Full time, 12‑month fixed‑term contract positions 1 x Part‑time (0.4 FTE) permanent position (two 7.5‑hour days – flexible working days) Your Responsibilities Evaluate applications for entry to courses offered by the University. Assess national and overseas qualifications in line with University policies. Maintain knowledge and provide advice on course entry requirements, credit for prior learning and pathway courses for applicants who have not yet qualified for admission into their desired course. Provide a customer‑focused, quality evaluation and advisory service to all stakeholders on Admission requirements. Undertake projects required to maintain and improve pathways, our application systems and processes. Selection Criteria (Who we are looking for) Proven experience in delivering high‑quality customer service, with a strong commitment to client satisfaction. Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to effectively manage time, set priorities, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment. Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to use sound judgement to determine appropriate outcomes and actions. Great interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain effective professional relationships across diverse teams and levels. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly and professionally convey information and prepare accurate documentation. Demonstrated knowledge of and experience in undergraduate and postgraduate admissions (desirable). Role Requirements For the continuing (permanent) role, you will require permanent work rights in Australia to be considered. For the fixed‑term contract roles, you will require current work rights in Australia that match the tenure of the role. Successful applicants are subject to a National Police Clearance, and background, integrity, and reference checks to Curtin’s satisfaction.
