Clinic Hours:Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 9:00 pm,Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. About the Position: This urgent care clinic is an exciting opportunity for a VR General Practitioner to join our Urgent Care Clinic team (UCC) on a short‑term basis. Become part of a pivotal moment in the advancement of the standard of healthcare accessibility for the people of Bundaberg. The clinic is supported by onsite nursing and clinical staff, pathology, and imaging. The Urgent Care Clinic will provide treatment to category 4 and 5 emergency patients within the Bundaberg Region. Generous shift loadings apply to hours worked on weekends and public holidays. Duties include: Assess, diagnose and treat patients with urgent conditions that are not immediately life‑threatening. Provide clinical leadership and direction to the UCC clinical team. Work as part of a multidisciplinary team. Work with culturally diverse client groups. Qualifications & Experience: VR General Practitioner with emergency department or emergency care experience is preferred, but not essential. Fellowship of the RACGP, RACEM or ACRRM. Current full registration with AHPRA. Bachelor of Medicine. Key Requirements: Ability to work outside of standard business hours, including nights, weekends and public holidays. A current driver's licence is essential or ability to obtain. Advanced Life Support Training or ability to obtain. A Federal Police Check or ability to obtain. Locum Rate: $175 - $263 per hour.
