Base pay range A$80,000.00/yr – A$80,000.00/yr Kudosity is seeking a results focused Sales Solutions Engineer to support our mid-market independent software vendor portfolio. Shape sales success in a dynamic technology environment Newly created position, Permanent opportunity Salary from $80,000 + super + ESOP Our Customer & Revenue team is focused on new customer acquisition and go-to-market strategy, as well as enhancing existing customer engagement within our flagship SMS product. The role As a Sales Solutions Engineer, your primary responsibility is to support sales and technical initiatives by engaging with clients, qualifying opportunities, and delivering tailored solutions. This hybrid role combines early‑stage selling with technical problem‑solving, client onboarding, and product support, providing a strong foundation to develop into a full Solutions Engineer or Solutions Architect role. You will work closely with the sales team to build a portfolio of clients, nurture leads, and contribute to strategic initiatives such as WhatsApp onboarding and API integration. Success in this role requires a mix of technical curiosity, client‑focused thinking, and an eagerness to learn and grow within a fast‑paced tech environment. Key Responsibilities Sales Support and Lead Engagement: Assist the sales team in qualifying inbound leads and supporting the early stages of the sales process. Tailor technical solutions to client needs and help drive opportunities toward closure. Client Onboarding and Enablement: Support clients during onboarding, including new channels like WhatsApp, ensuring a smooth adoption of products and services. Technical Problem‑Solving and Second‑Line Support: Act as Tier 2 support for client issues, troubleshooting and escalating when necessary to maintain high levels of satisfaction. Product and Technical Knowledge: Develop deep understanding of the company’s products, APIs, and integrations to effectively support sales, onboarding, and client success initiatives. Portfolio Management and Growth: Begin maintaining a personal client portfolio, identifying opportunities to add value, contribute to upselling, and expand client adoption. Collaboration with Cross‑Functional Teams: Work closely with product, sales, and customer success teams to align on initiatives, campaigns, and client strategies. About you Interest in technology, APIs, SaaS products, and client‑facing solutions. Curiosity and eagerness to learn, with a focus on technical and sales skill development. Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills with a client‑focused mindset. Comfortable working in a hybrid role that balances technical and sales responsibilities. Entry‑level experience in technical support, pre‑sales, or client‑facing roles is desirable. Familiarity with CRM systems and data‑driven tracking of sales or client success account plans is a plus.
