Buying Assistant - Apparel (12 Month FTC) Join to apply for the Buying Assistant - Apparel (12 Month FTC) role at Target Australia Join the team and help deliver quality products. We are expanding to our new Chadstone office in early 2026, fostering creativity, collaboration, and connection. What will you do? Manage all marketing and coordination of samples for all advertising, including online. Manage the product registration process after sign off—from keycode creation to sampling and packaging coordination. Support the department by ensuring all data entry information is accurate, up-to-date, and maintained. Provide market insights by assessing the competitive set on a regular basis and feeding feedback to the team. Liaise with and support a local supply base as well as an overseas sourcing team. What are we looking for? Excellent time‑management and organisational skills. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage and interpret data. Strong attention to detail. Effective numerical, critical thinking and analytical skills. A driven, efficient and enthusiastic mindset with a passion for retail and apparel.
