Award/Classification: Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement, Allied Health Professional, Level 3 Salary: $110,425 to $121,907 pro rata, per annum Employment type: Casual, Full Time, Part Time Region: North West, South The Psychologist Employment Register is established to provide the Tasmanian Health Service with a pool of experienced and skilled people who are able to work at short notice. Interested persons are able to submit their application to be considered for psychology duties on a fixed-term basis. This Register will remain open to applicants until 30 June 2026 and will be reviewed on a regular basis. Please note that the Register will not preclude other psychology positions being advertised if warranted. Current vacancies are available on the website. $106,966 - $123,013 (pro-rata), per annum. Please note that access to salaries beyond $105,245 is subject to qualifications and/or application to the personal upgrade scheme. Classification Allied Health Professional Level 3 Award Allied Health Professional (Tasmanian State Service) Agreement 2019 Location The Royal Hobart Hospital is located in Southern Tasmania. Mental Health Services have roles across Southern, Northern and Northwest regions of Tasmania. Duties Please see relevant Statement of Duties (below). Requirements Registered with the Psychology Board of Australia Some vacancies are subject to a satisfactory Working with Children Registration check for the State of Tasmania. The Head of the State Service has determined that the person nominated for this job is to satisfy a pre-employment check before taking up the appointment, on promotion or transfer. The following checks are to be conducted: Conviction checks in the following areas: Crimes of Violence Sex Related Offences Serious Drug Offences Crimes involving dishonesty Identification check Disciplinary action in previous employment check.
