Senior Performance Testing Analyst, Digital Health Projects Join to apply for the Senior Performance Testing Analyst, Digital Health Projects role at Victorian Department of Health About the Role The Performance Testing Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of the Mental Health and Wellbeing Client Management System (MHWCMS) through the implementation of a robust performance testing strategy. The role drives a cohesive and coordinated approach across all testing phases, ensuring that performance testing activities are aligned with project delivery timelines and quality outcomes. The analyst will facilitate and oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of performance testing cycles, working collaboratively with internal teams and external vendors to mitigate regression risks while maintaining system integrity and responsiveness under load. Responsibilities Facilitate, coordinate and support the effective execution of performance testing cycles. Collaborate with internal and external testing teams and stakeholders to ensure integrated solutions meet performance and business continuity requirements. Prepare complex briefs, reports, and documentation with clear, concise, and grammatically correct language. Conceptualise and define systems’ performance expectations and testing outcomes. Manage outsourced testing responsibilities, ensuring compliance with performance, failover and usability standards. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years ICT testing and analysis experience across enterprise full cycle of test phases, preferably in both infrastructure and application delivery projects. A tertiary qualification with significant ICT component; Certification or formal qualifications in testing desirable. A Certified Health Informatician Australasia (CHIA) qualification is desirable but not mandatory. Experience with appropriate testing techniques, methodologies and tools, including risk, issue and defect management, and Agile methodology driven projects. Experience in the Victorian Public Health Sector and with complex privacy and security requirements is desirable.
