We are looking for a full time Cadet Civil Drafter to join our Civil and Water team at Bligh Tanner. As part of our team, you will be part of one of Brisbane’s most highly awarded engineering practices and work alongside recognised industry leaders. Our diverse portfolio of work includes parks and open space, BMX and mountain bike tracks, solar farms, national park facilities, ecotourism, playgrounds, waterway restoration works, water recycling schemes, health and education facilities, remote community water supply projects, complex urban development and more. We believe in our people and that the relationships we build internally reflect in the work we attract. The Role This is a cadetship entry level position for future civil designers. We will support you in your studies whilst you work as a trainee draftsperson and progress toward a civil designer. Typically a cadetship is a 3 year program but depends on the individual’s rate of learning. We are looking for someone with initiative, who has a keen interest in innovative civil design. You will be joining an established team of 6 designers within a broader Civil + Water team of 20. Our design team is responsible for a diverse range of interesting, technical project types. Our projects range from civil infrastructure, land development to parks, recreation areas and public spaces.
