Mascot & Assistant for Memory Walk & Jog. Newcastle NSW Bring our mascot, Al the Elephant, to life with your energetic and friendly spirit As our mascot, your role is to wear the mascot costume to Memory Walk & Jog, pose for photos, greet participants at the event, and display an animated, friendly persona when acting as Al. Costume includes a moulded head, body, hands, and feet. The costume has limited vision and big enclosed feet, which require an assistant. As “Al” you will always be supported by an assistant throughout the day (ideally you will come as a pair). The mascot and assistant volunteers may elect to share the roles throughout the morning. BOTH ROLE REQUIREMENTS: 18 yrs + and a valid WWCC in the appropriate state location of the event. NO EXCEPTIONS. Category Community Services Commitment One off – an event Type Of Work Fundraising & Events, Music & Entertainment, Seniors & Aged Care Time Required We need volunteers on the day from 6.45 a.m. to approximately midday in various roles. Training Information will be emailed to volunteers in the week before the event.
