Overview We are seeking a multi-skilled Part time Medical Laboratory Scientist/Scientific Officer to join our dedicated team within our 24‑hour laboratory in Geelong, Victoria. Your role will be to participate in the day‑to‑day operation of the laboratory, working as part of a dedicated team. Duties include general Biochemistry, Haematology and Transfusion work, maintenance of instrumentation and equipment and compliance with accreditation and quality assurance requirements. The preferred applicants will be flexible, punctual, self‑motivated, display initiative and be able to work with minimal to no supervision once fully trained. You are required to participate in a rotating 24‑hour 7 days a week roster, including weekends and Public Holidays. Qualifications & Requirements Diploma or Degree in Laboratory Science or an AIMS accredited equivalent as a minimum. Relevant experience and qualification in specialised discipline (Biochemistry, Haematology including Morphology, and Transfusion). High attention to detail and experience working in a fast‑paced environment. Ability to multitask and successfully work as part of a team. Exceptional communication, time management & organisational skills. Ability to contribute towards the delivery of customer focused services. Own transport and ability to work weekend, day, evening and night shifts roster including public holidays. Applicants must address the criteria above in their application.
