The primary objective of this position is to manage Motor Vehicle Claims from end-to-end. The position will include managing a portfolio of motor claims across multiple accounts, ensuring clients receive best-in-class service while assisting in escalating any complaints or disputes to the Motor Lead and National Claims Manager. Our Insurance Brokerage prides itself in superior customer service and the Senior Claims Executive must embody this objective and deliver a passionate and professional customer experience. With our major demographic of clients being in the luxury and super-luxury space, the Senior Claims Executive will also be a reference person to the broking team, as required and as appropriate. It is essential that the handling of the day-to-day claim's operations are completed with an organised mind - accuracy, efficiency and a can-do attitude are important. The position is also expected to assist with the handling and growth of property claims within the business, whereby over time, the more influence this position will yield. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Manage a portfolio of motor vehicle and property claims end-to-end Provide quality customer service with the objective of achieving a high level of customer satisfaction Liaise between insurers, clients, brokers, repairers and assessors throughout the claims process Negotiate with assessors and insurers to obtain an accurate and timely resolution to claims Advocate for the client's best interests at all times Escalate and assist with declinatures, disputes, complaints, IDR matters and AFCA cases where required Uphold the values of the business in each and every engagement Comply with all office policies and procedures along with various laws, codes and regulations Be a reference to the broking team, as required Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested by the National Claims Manager SKILL REQUIREMENTS Must be able to communicate (speak, read, write and understand) well in English Must possess Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook skills along with Admin skills Experience with Winbeat preferred Strong Customer Service and values the Customer Experience Strong negotiation skills Technically proficient in the operative clauses of motor insurance policies Proficient in the entire motor claims process from lodgement through to settlement and recovery Excellent understanding of the Australian Road Rules Able to manage motor vehicle liability disputes Able to manage property claims end-to-end EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND LICENSES High School Diploma or Equivalent/RG146/Tier 1 or 2 desirable At least 5 years motor and/or property claims experience Prior motor insurance claims experience is mandatory for this position Must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident #J-18808-Ljbffr
