Location: ACT Security Clearance: Negative Vetting 1 - Negative Vetting 2 preferred About the role The project will deploy a cloud‑based modern desktop and productivity platform with full functionality available to all users, incorporating a new hybrid cloud environment with current productivity applications and up‑to‑date security, control, and domain management features. Key Responsibilities The role will work within a government digital delivery team as a representative to carry out test assurance and execution in support of a pilot project. The position will be responsible for a range of testing activities across all phases of the project testing lifecycle, with a strong focus on the following: Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts aligned with project requirements and technical specifications. Conduct functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT) across desktop, mobile, and cloud environments. Identify, document, and manage defects using appropriate tools and collaborate with development and support teams to resolve issues. Required Skills Experience with test management and defect tracking tools. Familiarity with automation tools and scripting. Clear understanding of cloud platforms (Microsoft 365, Azure) and modern device management. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Experience with the implementation of a Cloud‑Managed Windows 11 Standard Operating Environment (SOE). Deployment of Windows 11 SOE to a large user base Exposure to Microsoft Intune (MDM) for managing devices. Deployment of Microsoft Outlook and other core Microsoft 365 productivity applications to iOS and Windows 11 endpoints. Migration of users from Exchange On‑Premises to Exchange Online. Transition of users to OneDrive, including treatment and migration of legacy H: Drives.
