Your New Role Reporting to the Manager – Service Management, you will be responsible for maintaining the company’s IT software register, ensuring compliance with licensing agreements, and supporting the effective management of software licences across the organisation. You will also work closely with procurement, finance, and technology teams to provide input into the annual budgeting cycle. This position supports operational resilience and compliance within the Technology, Digital and Data domain. Key responsibilities : Maintain and regularly update the organisation’s IT software register, ensuring all software assets are accurately recorded and categorised. Work with business stakeholders to capture new software purchases, renewals, decommissions, and changes in usage. Monitor software licence usage and ensure compliance with vendor terms and conditions. Proactively identify and address potential licence shortfalls, over-provisioning, or compliance risks. Administer and optimise use of the organisation’s software management tool to track software assets, licences, and compliance status. Ensure data integrity and accuracy in the tool, including regular reconciliation with procurement and finance records. Provide accurate and timely input to the annual budget planning cycle regarding software licence requirements and renewal costs. Work closely with the procurement and finance teams to forecast future software needs and associated costs. Ensure compliance to the Fund’s Policies, Standards and Procedures and the Fund’s Key Decision Registers and the delegated authorities What You’ll Need 3+ years’ experience in IT asset management, software licensing, or related fields, preferably within a technology-driven environment. Demonstrated experience in maintaining IT software registers and managing licence compliance. Hands‑on experience with software management tools and data reconciliation processes.
