Sonographer – Deliver Exceptional Imaging in a Supportive, Rewarding Environment Full-time Ongoing Position About Central Gippsland Health Central Gippsland Health (CGH) is a sub-regional health service and the major provider of health and aged care services in the Wellington Shire. CGH is located in Sale, 215 km east of Melbourne, and supplies acute, sub‑acute, aged‑care, and community services across its three campuses (Sale, Maffra, Heyfield) and beyond. About Department The Medical Imaging Department offers services such as general X‑ray, fluoroscopy, mammography, ultrasound, bone density scanning, CT, MRI, nuclear medicine, BreastScreen, and echocardiography across two locations (CGH grounds and Sale CBD), including services at Raymond St and Fulham Correctional Centre. About the Role You provide and interpret a range of medical imaging examinations to diagnose and manage patients/clients, ensuring diagnostic quality while maintaining radiation safety. Duties Provide high‑quality ultrasound examinations. Liaise with radiologists and nursing staff. Qualifications, Skills and Experience Post‑graduate degree in Ultrasound recognised by ASMIRT and ASAR. Bachelor of Medical Radiology is ideal but not essential.
