In return, you’ll be supported to bring your own ideas to the table and challenge conventions – with the aim of making life a little brighter, simpler and better for our customers and each other.Overview of the roleAs Senior Business Analyst in our Digital Customer Tribe, you will be supporting the delivery of the digital servicing program of work across Suncorp’s Insurance brands. The role offers plenty of variety working across multiple digital assets, applications, platforms and brands.You will have the opportunity to join our large Analysis Chapter that supports a variety of medium to large scale programs across the Suncorp Group. The Chapter consists of ~200 like-minded analysts, where ideas and best practice are shared via community events, masterclasses and knowledge sharing activities. You will support projects being delivered in a continuous delivery model (Agile).Suncorp is proud of our fantastic culture where you will be supported in your career development.What you’ll do:Work with a number of stakeholders across the business including the Enterprise Delivery Analysis, Enterprise Delivery Practice, Delivery/ Project managers, Business/Product owners, subject matter experts and project stakeholders including not limited to principal engineers, architects, developers, testers, scrum masters etcUse appropriate systems, tools and processes to proactively discover requirements; facilitate workshops, synthesise information accurately, completely and coherently to produce designs that realise Tribe/Squad and/or Project outcomesAdopt Suncorp’s Design Management Framework to elaborate on requirements, create acceptance criteria, compile story cards/user stories and estimate effortApply sound comprehension of Suncorp business context including strategy, key systems/process, and critical issues/constraintsSolve business and technical problems using a methodical and consultative approachSupport testing, change management, training and business roll-out of solutionsDocument current and future-state processes (as-is/to-be)Manage risks, issues and change requests using established tools and frameworksChampion and role model a delivery excellence culture with full information transparency, decision making at pace and mutual trust and teamwork.What you’ll bring:Minimum of 4 years’ experience as a Senior Business Analyst working in the Digital domain including but not limited to experience in Web, Mobile and Digital Payment assets and platformsExperience working in Digital projects including understanding APIs, Web and Mobile App UIExperience with rest APIs and expertise to help draft an API contract liaising with Technical SMEsExperience with customer journey and expertise to work with UX designers, and developers to come up with optimal technical solution to a business problemExperience with eliciting and defining business requirements, and translate into technical requirements for developersExperience in Agile ways of working and supporting tools including but not limited to JIRA, confluence etc.Experience in building and influencing successful business relationshipsExperience in creating user stories, defining as-is to-be processes and managing risks/issues/change requestsInsurance or financial services industry experience advantageousA thirst for continual development and learning and willingness to share experience with othersEnthusiasm to be an active contributor to the Analysis Chapter and building and embedding a strong culture that enables everyone to become a master of the craft of business analysisWhat we can offer you:Discounts and offers on a range of retail favourite stores as well as banking and insurance products.A range of flexible working and leave options, including 20 weeks paid parental leave, 4 weeks paid secondary carer parental leave and unlimited paid emergency response leave.Invest in your brighter future with ongoing study support and career development programs.Give back to our communities with payroll giving, donation matching and paid volunteer leave.Prioritise your work/life balance with our robust employee assistance program and dedicated employee council.About Suncorp Group:We’re proud to be a part of the Suncorp Group family alongside some of Australia’s most trusted and diverse names in insurance.
