We have a strong portfolio of leading and renowned beef, lamb, pork, salmon and value-added branded products, such as AMH, Swift, Primo, Murray Valley and Huon. The JBS Cold Store facility is strategically located in Hemmant near the Port of Brisbane and employs approximately 140 people. Hemmant receives a high volume of truck and container loads of product from all the JBS sites around Australia, these are then re-loaded for our domestic and international customer’ orders and readied for transport. Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, we have several vacancies for Cold Stores Labourers to join our diverse team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a company that is leading the way in the meat industry. We have the option of 3 different shift times: Day Shift - 6am to 2pm Afternoon Shift - 2pm to 10pm Night Shift - 10pm to 6am Your key responsibilities will include: Contribute to a zero harm safety culture Ensure product integrity is maintained Checking andverification of paperwork Order preparation Loading & unloading containers Sorting product About You Must have Australian working rights Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Reliable and punctual Sound numerical skills Physically fit as manual labour is required Ability to work in cold temperatures for extended periods Ability to comply with company policies and procedures Flexibility with hours including availability to work overtime as required #J-18808-Ljbffr
