Driver Trainer

With a strong commitment to safety, efficiency and professional development, we're looking for a passionate and experienced Driver Trainer to join our team. As a Driver Trainer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our drivers are skilled, confident and safety conscious. You will be responsible for conducting assessments and training on new and existing employees (including labour hire) to ensure employees are competent and are provided with the further training they require to build and maintain their driving skills. Position location is Moorebank. Key Responsibilities Assess the knowledge, competence and skills of new and existing drivers. Provide effective training and coaching as required. Work closely with key stakeholders to coordinate and schedule assessments and training. Actively participate in process improvements and support implementation of new processes. Record individual driver progress and provide trainer feedback. Upload training records into the Transport Management System (F2020). To succeed in this role, you will need to have: Possess a current MC drivers’ licence and extensive driving experience. Hold a current Cert IV in Training and Assessment. Proven experience as a Driver Trainer in a similar role within the road transport industry. Have a strong understanding of Workplace Health and Safety legislation. Have a strong understanding of fatigue management. Have exceptional interpersonal skills and have the ability to motivate and inspire others. Have excellent time management and organizational skills.
