The Opportunity Premcar is currently seeking a Chief Financial Officer to join the team. The primary responsibility of the CFO is to drive financial strategy, policies, procedures and a financial controls framework to ensure the achievement of Premcar’s financial objectives. The CFO will ensure internal controls are effectively in place and functional, and ensure compliance with applicable rules and regulations. Reporting directly into the Directors of Premcar, the CFO will lead our Finance & Commercial functions including Accounting and General Ledger, Financial/Management/Regulatory reporting, Forecast and Budgeting, Costings, Payroll, Accounts Payable and Receivable, Annual/periodic audits facilitations, Taxation, Finance systems, Grants/Funds management and Treasury. The CFO provides strategic recommendations on enhancing the sustainability, compliance, effectiveness and efficiency of the business; identifies and scopes new revenue opportunities; and reviews systems and processes to ensure intelligent, timely, accurate financial data and reporting to power management decisions. The Candidate We are looking for a proactive and pragmatic individual who is willing to get into the detail, enjoys process and function optimisation, and champions continuous improvement. This role will not suit candidates who only have experience in large corporate organisations.
