Senior Foreperson

As one of Australia’s leading racing stables, Ciaron Maher Racing is seeking an experienced, motivated and determined Senior Foreperson to join our location at Moss Vale (NSW) . Our stables offer a fun vibrant working environment where you will enjoy your days and have opportunity to grow. All applicants must have a minimum of 3-years full time professional experience in the role, or at least 2 years full time highly relevant experience. In addition, the following will be required: Knowledge and experience of horse training and handling methods specific to thoroughbred racing Proven ability to manage a team of staff Ability to check horses for injuries and report back to the trainer Knowledge of equine treatments and medications Knowledge of racehorse training and gear Oral and written communication skills of a level to take instruction and provide information Basic computer skills - rostering, excellent understanding of the use of Prism Sound knowledge of health and safety obligations and demonstrated skills in safe operation of equipment relevant to the training and preparation of racehorses Proven as a reliable worker, with excellent horsemanship skills Must hold or be willing to obtain a Racing NSW Forepersons Licence For more information or to apply, please email your resume to ******@ciaronmaher.com.au #J-18808-Ljbffr
