Peter Street Medical Centre is located in Wagga Wagga, on the banks of the Murrumbidgee River in the heart of the Riverina region of NSW. The area boasts picturesque natural beauty with the benefit of being a vibrant regional centre. Our Practice: Take a 360 tour This long-established medical practice (40 years plus) offers the opportunity for an experienced GP who may be looking for a long-term option and place to settle. A DPA approved location and MM3 , this would suit a VR GP, or a non-VR GP under the PEP or MDRAP programs. We have a fully accredited, long established and highly regarded teaching practice with a large patient base and an excellent working relationship with local specialists. Our practice has always enjoyed a stable workforce with many of our doctors, nurses and admin staff boasting more than 20 years of service with us. This stability facilitates an experienced and collegiate work environment more than capable of welcoming and supporting new doctors and staff. The supportive nature of our workplace is regularly commented on by registrars and students, many of whom have said that it is the friendliest place they have ever worked. As testament to this, several of our current long-term doctors were previously registrars with us. Our People: - a team of GPs with a diverse range of special skills complementing general practice (including procedural obstetrics, mental health, musculoskeletal medicine and academic medicine) - full time equivalent, registered practice nurses (2 each day) - an enthusiastic, friendly and supportive administration team - Registrars and medical students Our Work Environment: - a fully computerised, private billing clinic - well equipped treatment rooms - operating within a beautiful heritage building located centrally in Wagga Wagga, within a 2 minute walk of the CBD Our Focus: Giving comprehensive, quality medical care to our patients across their lives (some of whom are third or fourth generation patients of our practice).
