Melbourne Plumb Surgeons is a fast-growing residential plumbing and drainage company servicing homeowners across Melbourne 24/7. We specialise in all general plumbing maintenance, drain clearing, drain repairs and replacements, pipe relining, hot water systems, water leaks, gas leaks, and small residential project works. We are currently seeking a confident and motivated Sales Plumber to join our team. Sales Plumber – Residential Maintenance About the Role As a Sales Plumber, you’ll attend residential properties, diagnose plumbing issues, present solution-based options, quote work, and carry out repairs and installations. Your focus will be on exceptional customer service, strong communication, and providing clients with clear, professional recommendations. This role suits someone who enjoys speaking with clients, problem solving, and achieving strong sales results while maintaining high workmanship standards. Key Responsibilities Attend residential homes for plumbing maintenance, repairs, and installations Diagnose issues with drainage, hot water, gas, and general plumbing Quote and present multiple solution options to clients Build rapport and provide a premium customer experience Complete work to a high standard with compliance and safety Maintain accurate job notes and use company iPad for documentation Achieve sales targets and uphold company values Requirements Essential: Licensed/Qualified Plumber (Cert III + relevant endorsements) Residential maintenance sales experience is a MUST Strong confidence in quoting and selling work Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Professional, reliable, and well-presented High attention to detail and takes pride in workmanship Current driver’s licence Comfortable using an iPad and job management software Personal Qualities Confident and enthusiastic Enjoys working with customers Builds rapport easily Team player with a positive attitude Strives for excellence — no shortcuts Benefits Earn up to $75 per hour (including commissions) Monthly commission bonuses when KPIs are exceeded Fully equipped company vehicle + fuel card Company iPad provided Ongoing training and skill development Team events & monthly BBQs Career growth opportunities within the company Vehicle can be taken home How to Apply If you’re a motivated Sales Plumber looking to join a high-performing Melbourne team, we’d love to hear from you.
