Westbourne Legal is seeking a full-time para-legal/legal secretary, preferably with conveyancing experience. You will be working in the property law/conveyancing team assisting with all aspects of conveyancing including contract preparation, negotiations, exchange and settlements. About Us Westbourne Legal is a busy practice in Yarralumla, specialising in legal services to small and medium business, families and individuals, in practice areas such as property transactions, estate planning, estate administration and dispute resolution. We value a work/life balance for all employees. Flexible working arrangements for the right applicant will be considered. Staff enjoy a paid rostered day off every 3rd Friday on a rotational basis, lunch is provided, and there is free street parking. Your Skills Good organisational skills; A client-focused approach to tasks; Demonstrated attention to detail; Good written and verbal communication skills; A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook); Experience in LEAP and/or Smokeball Legal Software would be an advantage but not essential; An experienced conveyancer will have working knowledge of the property exchange (PEXA) platform.
