Clinical Facilitator – Ramsay Health Care Contract temporary part-time position (job share). Eligible applicants must be willing to share a role. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic and friendly team that will support clinical staff across the hospital. Responsibilities Provide clinical direction support and guidance for clinical staff, including students, graduates and novice nurses. Assist in coordination and implementation of the student placement program, including facilitation and supervision while on clinical placement. Act as a professional resource who plans, develops and coordinates delivery of education courses and programs within the hospital. Ensure safe and effective clinical practice that follows best practice. Work collaboratively with the education team to plan and deliver hospital‑wide education programs. Supervise staff compliance to annual mandatory training and eLearning completion. Contribute to and participate in education of all clinical staff through orientation, in‑servicing, clinical competence programs and quality improvement practices. Skills and Experience Exceptional time management and organisational skills. Highly organised, flexible and adaptable. Committed and proactive approach to professional development. Demonstrated experience in mentoring clinical staff. Act as an exceptional and positive role model. Relevant Nursing Registration with AHPRA – Registered Nurse. Minimum of 3 years post‑registration experience in an acute hospital environment. Understanding of methods of assisting and facilitating adult learning. Previous experience in clinical education/administration of student placements or nursing teaching. Proven ability to work effectively in a team and independently. Intermediate computer skills in MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint). Completion of preceptorship program or willingness to attain. Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment (desirable).
