Engineering Manager

We are currently recruiting an Engineering Manager for the Perth office. This key role is suited to an EPCM experienced engineering leader with a successful track record of technical leadership, enabling team performance and the ability to communicate technical solutions across diverse stakeholders. About the role The role involves: Managing and overseeing engineering and design aspects of mineral processing projects, including conceptual design, feasibility studies and detailed engineering across Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Piping, Electrical and Instrumentation disciplines. Leading a multidisciplinary team of engineers and designers, providing technical expertise, guidance and mentorship to ensure project objectives are met. Being responsible for technical approval and sign‑off of the project’s engineering and design. Collaborating with Functional Managers (Mechanical / Civil & Structural / Electrical & Instrumentation) to ensure positive project outcomes from a technical and schedule perspective. Collaborating with clients to understand their requirements, develop project scopes and deliver customised solutions that exceed expectations. Ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, industry standards and company policies, with a strong focus on health, safety and environmental stewardship. Fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the team, promoting innovation, excellence and professional development. About you A bachelor’s degree, ideally Mechanical Engineering. Extensive experience with discipline engineering within a mineral processing EPCM environment, proven leadership experience. Experience in Gold, Rare Earths or Nickel is advantageous. Strong technical expertise in mineral processing principles, technologies and equipment. Demonstrated success taking ownership of engineering deliverables to support demanding project schedules. Proven track record of successfully managing complex engineering projects from concept to completion, focusing on safety, technical quality and client satisfaction. Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills, able to manage teams and collaborate with clients and stakeholders. Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies, emphasising planning, scheduling and budgeting. Strong commercial acumen with knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements, industry standards and best practices.
