Due to recent investment and growth, they're looking to hire an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their team in Deeside. Electrical Maintenance Engineer (Days) - The RewardsCompetitive salary up to £42,000Monday - Friday DAYSCompany PensionOvertime availableDiscounted staff shopOnsite parkingElectrical Maintenance Engineer (Days) - Requirements1-2 years experience ideally in a manufacturing backgroundExperience in electro-mechanical maintenance background in a large-scale heavy industrial manufacturing environmentInstallation, calibration, troubleshooting and repair of electrical equipment and distribution systemsBlueprint/schematic reading, access and read electrical, pneumatic and mechanical drawingsRelevant qualification, NVQ, Diploma, Degree in Electrical Engineering18th Edition advantageousElectrical Maintenance Engineer (Days) - ResponsibilitiesPerform scheduled and planned maintenance repairs of equipment, as well as emergency/unscheduled repairs of mill equipment during unplanned shutdownsCapable of repairing electrical, electro-mechanical, pneumatic & hydraulic devicesPerform preventative maintenance on machines and equipment throughout the millSafely use all hand and power tools. After onsite training and certification, safely use aerial lift equipment, fall protection, etc.Troubleshoot and diagnose problems related to electrical failure, report conditions, and recommend steps to be takenPerform preventative maintenance such as changing contacts, checking motors, according to instructionsPLC knowledge will be an assetInstall cables, conduit, for new equipment or replacing old oneStrong communication skills, and a team-player attitudeCollaborate with other team members as necessary to resolve problems and determine the roots causeReads and uses all types of electrical schematic wiring diagrams.Perform or assist with operations, as required to maintain workflow and to meet schedules and quality requirements.Maintain safe work area and comply with safety procedures and equipment operating rules keeping work area in a clean and orderly condition.Participate in a variety of meetings and work groups to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems, and maintain specified level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, requirements, policies, and regulatory guidelines.Perform other related duties as assigned.About Us Detail2Recruitment acts as an employment agency in respect of this position.
