Are you a patient centered RN or EN Nurse, with excellence in clinical and interpersonal skills, looking for a supportive, friendly and highly regarded private practice position. Niche Plastic Surgery is growing our team of nurses to include a Part time position. Be guided by 3 experienced and highly respected Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, with specialties in Craniofacial at The Royal Childrens and Royal Melbourne hospitals, and Cosmetic facial and body surgery in their private practice located in Kew. This role is to assist surgeons in preparation and minor procedures in rooms, while managing excellence in post-operative care for our patients. Surgical, minor theatre, post-operative, or wound care experience is highly regarded Training and guidance fully provided by experienced surgical nurses and surgeons Genie experience and Plastic and reconstructive experience highly regarded Salary negotiable on experience Duties: Exceptional care for the patient during all aspects of their journey at Niche Plastic Surgery in a confident, caring, and professional manner Oversee an individualised approach to our cosmetic patients recovery Assist surgeons in minor rooms procedures, including preparation of procedure rooms, surgical equipment, instruments, and pathology. Wound care and treatment of post-operative patients including removal of sutures Manage post-operative follow up calls and appointments Input patient information into Genie accurately and efficiently Sterilisation of instruments Manage your clinic and post operative appointments in a timely and professional manner Customer focused with excellent communication and interpersonal skills High level of organisation in preparation of surgical procedures, and patient needs Ability to go above and beyond in customer service, focused on enhancing the patient experience managing their post operative journey Excellent time management – understands priorities, and able to prioritise workload for efficient and effective management of tasks Able to build rapport and customer relationships easily, positive demeanour Commitment to continuous improvement and innovation, with the willingness to develop skills, and implement ideas Decision making and solution focused problem-solving skills Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team Values a great team and teamwork – friendly, collaborative, cooperative, supportive, professional, accountable Ability to liaise with doctor, practice manager, clinical co-ordinator, and patients, for best outcomes. Commitment to positive communication at all times.
