Legionella Risk Assessor – Northampton

Our client has an established legionella company based in Northampton and is looking for an experienced and competent Legionella Risk Assessor. The ideal candidate will come from a strong legionella background with extensive experience carrying out legionella risk assessments on a wide range of sites. Applications from Peterborough, Coventry, Milton Keynes, Northampton and the surrounding areas will be taken into consideration. Qualifications & Experience Experience working in this role within the water treatment/water hygiene industry. Attended an approved Risk Assessment course, City & Guilds, WMS or internal training courses – in‑house training. Experience carrying out risk assessments on cooling tower/process water systems. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficient with Microsoft Office package. Good working knowledge of commercial and industrial water systems, supplies and water regulations governing these. Key Responsibilities Carrying out Legionella risk assessments in line with ACOP L8 risk assessments. Compiling schematic drawings and producing final documents for clients. Providing recommendations and prices for remedial works, routine control measures through to quotations and carrying out such works based on the risk assessments. Monthly temperature testing and water sampling. Surveying of water systems and supplies as per ACOP L8. Writing up accurate reports and attending meetings with clients to discuss findings of reports. Build and maintain a good relationship with clients. In general, the successful candidate will be flexible, hard‑working and have a positive work ethic and will be a valuable addition to an already established team.
