Infrastructure Services Officer – Maintenance Program Delivery Infrastructure Services Division is looking for two Infrastructure Services Officers, one permanent and one temporary officer, to join their Maintenance Program Delivery Team. We are seeking agile and enthusiastic persons who can contribute to the planning and delivery of maintenance programs for schools, staff housing and early childhood education and care centres. About Us The team manages the planning and delivery of maintenance and related programs for schools, early childhood education and care centres and staff housing. About the Role As the Infrastructure Services Officer, you will have responsibility for, but not limited to, the following: Undertake high level planning to develop the current packages for implementation with school and early childhood communities across Queensland to modernise and optimise school facilities. Participate in teams involved in the formulation of innovative and workable solutions for related infrastructure, planning, asset management or project related services. Assist with the preparation, analysis and presentation of data to ensure regular and accurate reporting on related activities. Manage operational issues to ensure identified outcomes and timelines are met. Provide secretariat support to support project or program governance. Prepare ministerial and general correspondence, briefings, reports and submissions on project-related matters and undertake record‑management activities for the work team. Maintain effective communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to support the day‑to‑day operations of the work team. Provide professional input into continuous improvement activities to ensure the development and promotion of best practices. Assist in developing and implementing policies, guidelines and procedures regarding related infrastructure, planning, asset management or project activities. The Infrastructure Services Officer reports to the Manager, Maintenance Program Delivery. About You You will be required to assist in providing quality advice and consultancy services to senior management and staff on a diverse range of facilities planning, investment and portfolio operations. You will interact with other resource management specialists in areas relevant to the delivery of the unit's services. Travel, including local and overnight travel, is a requirement of the role. The successful candidate must be able to perform this travel and, if required, will be provided a departmental vehicle where appropriate. As this vacancy involves regular school visits it is a requirement to possess a current Working with Children Check clearance (blue card) issued by Blue Card Services and have a current driver's licence.
