Department of Health Tasmania – Launceston TAS The Nurse Manager - Access and Patient Flow (Hospitals North) works as part of the team in the Integrated Operations Centre (IOC) at LGH. The IOC is the coordination hub that ensures the right person receives the right care in the most appropriate setting. The IOC encompasses integrated services that work collaboratively to ensure a smooth patient journey across the continuum to ensure improved outcomes for our consumers, our workforce, and the Tasmanian community. The Role This primary purpose of this role is the delivery of Access and Patient Flow program priorities, projects and workplan activities throughout THS North in line with the IOC operational plan. This is a job share position working 3 days per month with working days and hours negotiable. Experience in Project Management and/or Change management is desirable. Details of Appointment Permanent, part time, day worker position, working up to 12 hours per fortnight, commencing from the 16 February 2026. Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant. Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies. Salary $122,365 to $129,060 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount. Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023. In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available: Post Graduate Allowance of up to 10% based on qualification type. Desirable Criteria Relevant postgraduate qualifications in project management or clinical redesign. A minimum of 5 years of acute clinical experience.
