About the Role : We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design and implement robust, scalable data solutions in a dynamic environment. You will develop scalable data ingestion pipelines for property data assets, establishing them as the authoritative source for property-related decisions across Domain Group products and business units. You will help build reliable and insightful data solutions that fuel product innovation and drive business growth, including automated workflows with agentic AI solutions. What you can expect in a typical day : You will collaborate across the organization to lead the design and architecture of innovative data solutions that enhance the property ecosystem. Responsibilities Design and architect innovative data solutions that enhance every aspect of the property ecosystem. Develop scalable data ingestion pipelines and establish them as the authoritative data sources for property-related decisions. Create automated workflows and data assets to enable rapid extraction of insights across products and units. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product innovation and business growth. What we're looking for Demonstrated experience in leading the design, architecture, and end-to-end implementation of complex, high-performance, scalable data pipelines and infrastructure. Strong background in data modeling and architecting data warehousing / lakehouse solutions to meet evolving business needs. Experience implementing data quality frameworks and contributing to data governance from an engineering perspective. Ability to optimize performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness of data storage, retrieval, and processing at scale. Technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to junior / mid-level data engineers. Ability to automate data engineering processes and improve tooling for efficiency and reliability. Experience collaborating with data architects, platform engineers, and data consumers to define requirements and integrate robust data solutions. Our Ideal Person ESSENTIALS 4+ years of proven experience as a Senior Data Engineer in commercial / business environments. Expert-level SQL with advanced data modeling, query optimization, and warehousing concepts. Hands-on experience on a modern cloud data platform (Snowflake or BigQuery). Experience with data orchestration frameworks and pipelines (e.g., Apache Airflow, DBT). Proficiency in Python for building data applications and automation. Experience with AWS (preferred) and / or GCP / Azure; version control (Git) and CI / CD for data engineering. Excellent communication and technical leadership skills for mentoring and cross-functional collaboration. Nice to Haves Knowledge of the real estate industry and its data challenges. Experience with streaming data frameworks and real-time processing. Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform. Familiarity with ETL tools and services (e.g., SSIS, Fivetran, Stitch, Talend, Airbyte, Matillion). Hands-on experience with major cloud platforms (AWS preferred; GCP / Azure valued). Strong problem-solving skills and ability to optimize data infrastructure for performance and scalability. Excellent collaboration and communication with cross-functional teams.
