This role is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy and quality of construction projects through precise survey data, site set-out, and compliance with design specifications. Your new role Reporting to the Survey Manager, the Project Surveyor will: Operate and maintain survey instruments including total stations, GPS, levels, and laser scanners. Apply knowledge of machine guidance systems (Trimble, Topcon, Leica). Conduct site set-out for reference points, alignments, levels, and grades. Capture and record field measurements, as-built data, and site conditions. Perform drone-based surveys using DJI technology. Verify measurements and tolerances for quality assurance. Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and project teams to support efficient delivery. Maintain and calibrate survey equipment. Ensure compliance with WHS and environmental standards. What you'll need to succeed 1-5 years' experience in civil projects (earthworks, subdivisions, etc.). Qualification in Surveying (or currently studying) is desirable but not mandatory. General safety induction card and current driving licence. Strong communication skills and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Project. Ability to learn new technologies and work as part of a solutions-focused team. Knowledge of project coordination and contract management is advantageous.
