Practice Nurse Job type: Permanent position | Full-time position Salary: $75,000 to $85,000 per year (including salary packaging options) Job description and responsibilities Perform ECGs, draw bloods, swabs, etc. as required in the treatment room Engage in health promotion activities Administer medication and monitor/manage doctors’ bags, supplies and cupboard Wound management and dressings Assist in minor surgical procedures, including fracture repair, suturing, etc. Triage patients and administer immunisations as directed by GP Provide assistance with health assessments, chronic disease management activities Assist reception staff in general reception duties Maintain hygiene and cleanliness standards of the clinic Chaperone where required/requested Complete e-Health uploads each quarter Other administrative duties as directed by Practice Manager Manage vaccine fridge, supplies, and infection control Contribute to patient triage, care coordination, and documentation Support chronic disease management and patient health assessments Maintain high clinical standards and assist with accreditation processes Participate in risk management and quality improvement processes Record incidents and near misses in line with practice policy Maintain patient and practice confidentiality at all times Experience/Qualifications required Registered Nurse with AHPRA registration Previous experience in general practice nursing preferred Skills in wound care, immunisations, and clinical documentation advantageous Excellent communication and organisational skills Schedule & benefits 8-hour day shifts, Monday to Friday (some flexibility and rotating rosters) Employee mentoring program Professional development assistance Maternity leave available Work with the Practice Manager and principals to develop and maintain practice policies and procedures, including infection control, consumer stock management, end-of-month checks, recalls/reminders and follow-up on test results Safety and quality processes; record incidents and near misses as per policy Practice duty of care, accounting for accountability and confidentiality Company highlight Kripa Health Pty Ltd is a growing healthcare group focused on community-based care.
