Chatswood Heart and Dee Why Heart are seeking an exceptional Medical Receptionist to join our growing cardiology teams. This is a fantastic opportunity to work across two leading specialist clinics, supporting cardiologists, sonographers and patients through their cardiac care journey. Responsibilities As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a crucial role in delivering an outstanding patient experience. You will support the day‑to‑day operations of the clinics, ensure smooth workflow for our healthcare professionals, and uphold high standards of presentation and efficiency. Your responsibilities will include: Welcoming and assisting patients with warmth and professionalism Managing appointments, confirmations, emails and phone calls Processing billing and payments accurately Preparing consultation and testing rooms each morning Coordinating and following up on hospital bookings Managing correspondence, reports, and referrals Performing ECGs, Holter monitors, and BP testing (training provided) Supporting doctors, sonographers, and clinical staff in delivering high‑quality care Maintaining clinic cleanliness, organisation, and presentation Assisting with patient feedback and complaint escalation Requirements We’re looking for someone who is: Warm, professional and patient‑focused Highly organised with strong attention to detail Able to multitask and remain calm under pressure A strong communicator , both in person and over the phone Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering exceptional service Experienced in medical reception (preferred but not essential) Familiar with cardiology or diagnostic testing (advantage but not required) Comfortable learning new systems and clinical workflows Why Join us?
