The Opportunity We are seeking qualified and highly experienced ESO / MESO's to join our ERS site team in a casual, ongoing 8 / 6, 7 / 7 (day / night) roster, FIFO from Perth. The opportunity is to provide highly capable emergency response and medical services for one of the world's largest gold miners. You’ll be a vital presence on the ground - responding to incidents, providing medical care and emergency response, running drills, and keeping people safe in some of the most dynamic environments across Australia. You will be responsible for delivering professional medical and emergency preparation and response to any emergency in the work environment, ensuring the safety and security of all personnel and property in the event of an emergency as well as developing and implementing emergency response plans, coordinating emergency response efforts, and providing training to employees on emergency procedures. About You 5+ years of experience in emergency response or related field. Background in emergency management, fire services, defence or similar. Strong knowledge of emergency response protocols and procedures. Strong medical knowledge in emergency response. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in high-pressure situations. Strong organizational and planning skills. Ability to work collaboratively with other emergency services agencies and stakeholders. Proactive & Solution focused. Physically fit and ready for the demands of the job. Essential Qualifications RII – Certificate III in Emergency Response and Rescue OR PUA – Certificate III in Public Safety (Firefighting and Emergency Operations) must include : Undertake confined space rescue (PUASAR025), Undertake vertical rescue (PUASAR032) and Road crash rescue (PUASAR024) HLTPAT005 – Collect specimens for drugs of abuse testing Heavy Rigid (HR) Driver's Licence to operate site fire appliances PUAVEH001 – Drive Vehicle Under Operational Conditions RIIVEH305F Operate & Maintain a 4x4 Vehicle UGSR_BG4 Underground Search & Rescue Closed Circuit BA HLTAID011 – Provide First Aid – needs to be current within 3 years HLTAID009 – Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) – needs to be current within 12 months HLT – Certificate IV in Health Care Desired Qualifications / Working towards Certificate IV Emergency Response Coordination Diploma in Paramedical Science (or similar) BSB Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety TAE Certificate IV in Training and Assessment #J-18808-Ljbffr
