The Field Application Engineer – Windows Copilot+ PC Ecosystem will have a pre‑sales focus and will drive technical adoption of the Windows on Snapdragon Compute platform across the Commercial space. In this position you will be responsible for helping enterprise customers with Windows on Snapdragon (WoS) compute product commercialization and support enterprise needs for a timely, faster, and smooth product evaluation. You will have the opportunity to show your strong customer support skills by resolving enterprise issues on the WoS platform and the Windows application ecosystem. Job Responsibilities Assisting with the execution of Qualcomm’s Worldwide Compute Go‑To‑Market strategy Support enterprise customers troubleshooting and help with detailed issue triage, analysis, and resolution on BIOS/Driver Support debugging of enterprise application issues and collaborate with platform and technology teams, including reproducing issues and detailed triage, analysis, and resolution Analyze and root cause application issues on customer software/hardware systems Support Snapdragon ecosystem issue analysis and engagement Skills, Knowledge & Expertise Application development, debugging, testing with C/C++ and familiarity with embedded system software Experience with IT working and debugging issues in Windows 11 environment; tools preferred Driver debugging techniques, problem solving, and documentation skills Debugging with tools such as WinDbg, MSFT Trace Familiarity with Windows OS, including driver development or debugging, and command‑line tools such as PowerShell Strong knowledge of C/C++ programming; experience as a Windows application developer a plus Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience; OR Master’s degree and 3+ years; OR PhD and 2+ years 2+ years of experience troubleshooting Windows 10/11 with independent problem solving 5 to 8 years of working experience including application engineering and field application engineering on Windows 10/11 OS Able to duplicate issues and analyze on customer side to identify solutions while remotely supporting from the internal team 2+ years of experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc. 1+ year of experience with debugging techniques Preferred Qualifications Technical sales management expertise, ability to manage change, and desire to operate effectively across organizations and customers Experience building complex solutions and driving new device adoption in Commercial accounts Experience supporting launch of new technologies/products Ability to communicate, educate and evangelize internally and externally Excellent communication and people skills Creative problem solving with strong analytical skills Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
