Personal Carer – UnitingCare Queensland We’re seeking applications from passionate Personal Carers to join our Community Care Team. About the Role As a Personal Carer you’ll provide care to your clients living in the community, supporting their independence and improving their quality of life. Spend your time on the road completing scheduled visits, interacting one‑on‑one with clients in their homes supporting daily activities. Provide in‑home personal care: daily living assistance including showering, personal hygiene, meal preparation, house cleaning, laundry and ironing. Assist with tasks in accordance with the individualized Care Plan. Support with community‑based recreational and social activities. Provide transportation and assistance with shopping and appointments. Role Requirements Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support or equivalent qualification – Essential. Current Australian Driver’s Licence (Green Provisional minimum) – Essential. Roadworthy & insured (Third Party Property minimum) vehicle to use for work – Essential. Experience with technology including smartphones, tablets, laptops etc. Confidence to satisfy relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies.
