All about the role Ideally, we are seeking a dual sonographer / radiographer however, this is not essential. The successful locum will be required to perform a range of ultrasound scans including general, vascular, obstetrics, and musculoskeletal imaging. Sonographers run their own lists and there are 2 ultrasound rooms. Scans are performed using Philips machines. The work is completed Monday to Friday between the hours of 7am and 4pm. Our clients has 2 locum stints : 4th Nov to 29th Nov 2024 and 6th Jan to 31st Jan 2025. All about the duties will I perform? A range of ultrasound scans including general, vascular, obstetrics and MSK. Nuchal accreditation is highly advantageous however is not essential. You will work with a lovely team, including sonographers, receptionists and remote radiologists. As the locum sonographer, you will be provided with an induction to site and required to adhere to all protocols, procedures and policies. The skills and experience I need for this job Experience working in a private practice setting. Comfortable working in a private practice where there is no radiologist on site Comfortable with 20-minute MSK appointments.
