Savie Support is seeking a Casual Disability Support Worker to join our team in East Maitland & Vacy area, NSW for an immediate start. As a Casual Disability Support Worker with experience around Dementia, you will be responsible for providing personalised care and support to individuals with a range of disabilities, helping them to live independently and actively participate in their community. This is a casual role, 'Get paid to make a difference every day'. What you'll be doing Assisting clients with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks Accompanying clients to appointments, social activities, and community events Encouraging and supporting clients to achieve their individual goals and maximise their independence Maintaining detailed client records and documentation Collaborating with the wider support team to ensure a coordinated and holistic approach to client care What we're looking for A Certificate III or IV in Disability, Aged Care, or a related field Experience in providing person-centred support to individuals with disabilities, including those with complex needs A minimum of 1 year experience in disability support services Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and work effectively with clients and their families A genuine passion for making a positive difference in the lives of people with disabilities A current driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle A full driver's licence is required for this position A commitment to upholding the principles of confidentiality, dignity, respect, and inclusion Australian citizenship is required for this position Current NDIS worker screening clearance is required Current Police Check & WWCC required About us Savie Support is a leading provider of disability services in the Maitland, Newcastle & Port Stephens region.
